I think you should delete all the accounts and try creating them again.
Are you using Microsoft outlook or outlook express?

Hai,
While setting up gmail account, you have to type the complete email
address
in the username box.
Also in the servers tab, please check the box which says, my server
requires
authentication.
In the advance tab, set the port numbers as 465 and 995 respectively.
Please check the check boxes below each port numbers.
