There is a judgement of the
Chief Commisioner of Disabilities  in Asif 's case v.s. IIM on this issue.
I cant find it on my new computer but I have shared it with many and Asif
will himself be able to provide it. Once you read that judgement all
speculationson this matter will end.

It actually depends on the examination authority.
Your best bet would be to contact them and enquire in advance about the
provisions in this context.
