Dear Rajesh and others

The issue is really on a larger plane and it is not that NGO is a holy cow.

We know, We have so many NGO's and there are under currents between them and
between their members. What will happen is that some would use this list to
fire their shells.

It is not possible to take it on a subjective case by case basis and there
will be a lot of blood letting and we would be way out of our focused goal. In
any case it is out of our scope of activity.

I would like to take into confidence the entire family on this issue.

Warmly
Harish Kotian

Why should anybody be restrained from calling a spade a spade?
I reiterate that national federation of the blind is plagued by in-fighting and
it is reflecting very poorly not only on the public image of the blind but is
also sacrificing the resources meant for bringing about some good.
I suggest that if NFB members and officials have got so much of aggression in
themselves, why not use it constructively for organizing some really powerful
demonstrations to jolt governments into action?

Anyway, NGOs are not holy cows to be venerated merely because they are NGOs.
Rather they are public bodies utilizing donations from the public and
government grants in certain cases, and must be made accountable for what they
do or do not do.

Regards
