My position on NGOs is that as long as they do not use oppressed groups as mere spectators, some considerations should be given. One does not need to agree or disagree with everything of any given organization. But as long as I am allowed to share a slice of the cake, I don’t care who bakes it. By the term “I”, I mean collectively as a group. Finally I am not sure how the NFB in India is, but it is at least a bit solid here and has been involved with some crucial battles. But of course I disagree with them in several ways. For example, they make worst canes and I do not understand the reason behind that. So in a nut shell, No NGO is absolutely perfect and they are not innocent either.
