Actually the problem is in reading the news paper, since when we exit after reading any llink, the focus is shifted to the top of the page, rather remain to the visited link and have to arrow down to the next link,which consumes a lot of time. In the webb IE, this problem was not there and the time could be saved.

There might be other web browsers for sure and some of them which work
on windows can be made to work in linux using "WINE", but I can't say
how accessible this solution will be.
Anyways, is there any particular problem which you are facing while
using firefox in ubuntu. I ask this because whosoever I know using
ubuntu is pretty happy in using firefox.
