one addition here. insert+page down read the status line, if displayed.
inser+b read the entire open window. if the progress bar is displayed on
status line, then jaws will read it. else, one has to depend on jaws or
invisible cursore. swasti, you can create frame for application specific and
assign a keystroke for it. i created one frame and assigned a keystroke to
read progress message in outlook express. because progress messages does not
come on the status line of outlook express.

INSERT+PAGEDOWN helps you read status bar content.
I do not know of a keystroke that reads remaining time in the download
dialog box. Writing a small script may help.

here i am requesting to please tell me how to read progress bars. i
know there is some specific command for this purpose but totaly unaware
about it. and please do tell me how to know time remaining while
downloading something. i know to keep a check on it through jaws cursor
but is there any single keyboard stroke to know the same?
