Hey all: Good news is that I have just tested Say Text in iPhone 3Gs. It works perfectly well. I need some practicve with the touch screen; otherwise the app works pretty well. Even the accuracy of the text is quite good. I was told that iPhone 3GS with 16 GB space should cost somewhere in the region of 23 to 25 thousand. iPhone 3Gs with 32 GB space costs Rs 40,000.

So, just forget about. 2. iPhone 3GS is also available in India and it has VoiceOver and Zoom functionality. VoiceOver is a full-fledged screen reader and provides access to most of the built-in apps and third-party apps. It does not provide limited access. 3. As far as I am aware, SayText may only work with the new iPhone 4 and not with any other models. I may be wrong but I don't thing the camera on the 3GS and 3G is sufficient for OCR. Look at www.maccessibility.net for reviews of the iPhone 3GS. However, am told that Voice Over is not fully functional on iPhone 3GS. 1. Is it true that VoiceOver works only to get some contacts and operate music in iPhone 3Gs bought in India? 2. If not, pl let me know how best I or anyone buying iPhone 3GS in India can make the best use of VoiceOver and by extension Say Text. Quick response is appreciated since I need to do it faster.
