Dear friends, I am trying to learn macro from the scratch, like recording a macro to writing a scripts . For example, I am creating a work book which has five sheets in it 1,2,3,4,5, so 1st being the master sheet, all the other sheets are filled by other people , so I would like to collate the remaining 4 sheets to the master sheet, now I am copying all the sheets info and pasting them in the master data, My question is, would it be possible to run a macro to do the same job rather than copy pasting it, Hope I am clear in my question, Sorry for explaining too much.

You can use the Excel macro recorder and then customize the code or, you can write a macro from scratch. Excel uses Visual Basic for Applications which is a variant of visual basic so the language is easy to learn.
