Hello Just 2 days back i faced the same. I appeared for the interview for Officer Grade B position for RBI in my college campus placements. After first 2 rounds of GD and Essay writing, very senior officials of RBI assumably from Services Board met me imformally and though appreciated my talent and qualification, regreted their inability to hier me.
Well, later reasons were clairified by my placement committee is that i was never in the race as these positions were not reserved for visually challenged. Now, i am worried is that even if i clear all the tests ettc. form outside from centralised process i will still not be selected. On the other hand, it's very clearly mentioned in the add on the website 6 posts are reserved for HI and although VIs can apply but they won't be given concessions. I need to know will i be at least allowed to appear for the exam with an elligible scribe. Will i be given extra time and at the end of the even though fighting through general category will i be hired? Sir, i am going jto wirte a letter to RBI asking the same doubts in short by tommorw for the test on this 6th of Feb and would let know. Kindly share your knowledge or opinions on the same matter. I will be more than happy to contribute in the same issue.
