Dear all,

As told by Amar the work is on in full swing however some things
related the finalization is going on. That dosent stop us from
working on Hindi & English OCR, and the relavent Hardware, as described
earlier. The Status of the Hindi OCR is as follows.

OCR Is indegineously developed hence we have been able to adapt to the
Hindi/ Marathi OCR or for that matter any devnagri script, But due to
lack of training data for the language at the moment we can only
recognize the complete alphabet and not the combined words(like it
recognizes single characters and not the joint characters, Work is on
way and soon it will be out but not in a month or so at least).
Nirmal Verma from Saksham has gathered the necessary files from members and so the work shall progress once we finish the English version and the Hardware.

An equivalant of the Stand based OCR should come first(cant comment on
the exact date, but work is on full swing and is nearing finalization.
