One can also use a Velcro board available from BPA Ahmedabad.

This board uses a Velcro(the one used in some shoes or hand bags). On top of
the board, a thick cotton thread can be used to draw diagrams. I found this
very useful during my economics exams in my b.com hons.

When I had to understand a diagram, I would ask my father to draw it for me,
and when I had to explain the diagram to my scribe, I would draw during the
examination. Before this board, I used to draw either with my fingers or
with pens, but I was never sure whether I drew them correctly or the scribe
had understood them properly. After I got to know about the board, speed of
drawing such diagrams during the examination increased substantially.

I could not obtain the board so I had just purchased a Velcro strip, and
created the board by sticking the cut pieces of that strip on back of a
writing board. Writing boards are anyways allowed in examinations.

Obviously, Velcro board is not only useful for economics, but it is also
useful for any other field that has diagrams.

Hi Karan,

Check with Saksham. The rubber mat is just that, a mat made of rubber. The
german film is a plastic sheet that goes on top of the mat. You can then
take a stylus or a similar implement and draw on the film. The key thing is
that you or a sighted helper can draw on the same side of the sheet.

These mats and sheets will most certainly help you.
