Hi Kartik,

I can answer your first question.

1. I wanted to know how the students who have taken CAT or any other
such management entrance exam for that matter, which involves a data
interpretation section involving graphs, attempt such questions? Any
stratigies.
PL] Not really. Your only option is to practice with the writer and get
sufficient description to be able to answer the question. You can extract
most relevant information from the questions just by reading the legend etc.
The fun starts when you get a new writer who can barely speak English and
who has not studied beyond 10th class. I have had this happen to me. In that
situation, you do the best you can and go for the next exam. There are no
silver bullets. I could have gone to the courts but I had a career to build
and a life to lead. Your only hope is to prepare yourself. You test yourself
alone in exam conditions and see how much you score. If you get a good score
consistently, then you stand a fighting chance. If you get a good score with
a writer, then you are in trouble.
