No, I did not intend to refer to the factory setting, rather resetting the 
device through the code *#7370#, or hard reset. Remember, once you perform 
this action, you'll lose all your data, be it the Talks software, or your 
contacts or messages for that matter.

Reset the Phone's original settings through the Factory Settings option? Or
are you referring to some other way of device reset? As far as the factory
setting is concerned, I have tried it already.
