at Renuka Warriar's side, your computer must have infected with the virus or spiware. kindly follow these steps in order to check it out: press window key+E to get windows explorer. go to tools menu by pressing the alt+T and locate the folder options by pressing the O or general navigation. press control+tab until you hear "view tab" and navigate to the advanced tree view using the tab key. locate the option "show hidden files or folders and make sure it is turned onn. if not, turn onn it by pressing space and simply press alt+a to apply the settings. then, you will hear "apply to all files and folders or something similar. press enter on it and just say yes. then tab to the OK button and hid enter on it. close the windows explorer and verify that whether this setting has been taken effect or not. if it still turned off (show hidden files or folder option), your computer must have infected with the spiware or trogen. if it is not an issue, make sure that one of your following programs are functioning properly:
task manager, press alt+control+delete.
registry editor: pull up the run dialog by pressing the window key+r and type "regedit" and press enter.
help and supportor: go to start/help and supportor.
Even that folder options also! follow the above procedure to verify it. note: if you have disabled them mannually no issues. if they are disabled with out your notice, then it must be virus/malware/trogen/spiware issue.
