i wrote about computer  science/application not science,
 but by the way you are right in math case , yes it is conducted by csir.
but following subjects is conducted by ugc.

computer science/ application  : subject code 87
Electronic Science : subject code 88

and for subject specific termonology  computer science / application
and electronics science have own simbles and signs ,which not known by
the other subjects students.
