his message clears that he uses the winrar no doubt but, some files will be
compressed using an advanced compression methods such as zipx. even some
rar files which are compressed with the other software cannot be extracted
with the winrar. verify the file format and let you know the proper
solution. Apart from that, an archive might be damaged due to harddrive
crash/cluster damage/virus/malware.
