Hello, Section 68 of the PWD Act of 1995 provides for unemployment allowance for disabled persons registered with an exchange for more than two years. I need the information regarding the states where this is being prvided and the amount provided etc.
I searched the mails if we discussed it before. I did not get what I need. Please discuss it on the list. We should fight for it now. I am quoting below the provision from the Act: 68. Unemployment Allowance for Persons with Disabilities The appropriate Governments within the limits of their economic capacity and development shall by notification frame a scheme for payment of an unemployment allowance to persons with disabilities registered with the Special Employment Exchange for more than two years and who could not he placed in any gainful occupation.
