I have already suggested daisy books from Saksham and soft copies from NCERT web site. Large print books may be easier for a student who has just lost most of his vision. The boy stays at Asansol, about 160 km from Kolkata.

What about magnifying glass? Is it possible for him to get used to it? Of course, I shall see that he has a thorough chekup at a low-vision clinic.

Please suggest him to use DAISY books available at NAB Delhi.

Hello,

Are books in largeprint available for students with low vision? In West Bengal, I don't know of an institution having special facilities for such students. Today a parent called me for his 16-year-old boy. I really felt helpless. this boy has lost his sight very recently. He was studying in a CBSE school at Asansol. It is very difficult to start everything in Braille at this moment.

With best regards,
