As soon as you accept reality, as little as you suffer in your life. So to
me, no problem.

Subject: [AI] Talking about visual impairment
Hi all,
I have a question.
My question is this: According to you, is it advisable to talk freely
with your friends and colleagues about your visual impairment?
I mean, if you want to know someone's view on a particular subject
which is related to your visual impairment, should you go ahead and
ask that person?
For example, if you wanna know someone's views about whether a
visually impaired person should use a cane or not at a particular
place, should you ask him/her?
I also believe that many people wanna know a lot about my visual
problem, but they're hesitant to ask me directly because, I assume,
they believe that I'll be offended by such questions.
So, should I initiate a conversation about such topics?
I do realize that one should only talk about such things with people
who are close to you, and not with every other person on the street.
I also realize that one should not keep constantly talking about one's
visual impairment only, because that, too, would irritate the other
person.
So, are there any other factors that I should keep in mind while
talking about these things with my friends?
As always, your feedback would be really appreciated.
Cheers,
Rahul
