Hi Umesha, I think 2-3 pages per minute is not a pity fast, In our library HP jet 4890 scanners are installed which scan too fast that I can easely scan 5 pages in a minute in image scanning mode in kurzweil. 5 pages in a minute is a wonderful speed, because of that I can 200 pages book with in 40 minutes. The problem with my jet 3110 scanner is that it takes a pause of 10 seconds between two scans in repeated scanning mode, another problem is that the scanning lid takes much time in returning to its original position as it come back more slowly then going to scan.
