Dear Milan
Thank you for the update.
You say you use HP lazer jet and it can do manual and automatic scanning.
It cost you Rs. 25000
Then, which are 3 lakh rupee automatic scanners you are refering to?
If we can get a scanner for automatic scanning for Rs. 25 thousand, I think I
would go for it...

hello rajesh sir,
automatic scanner is very expensive. as per my knowledge, a HP
automatic scanner cost around 3 lakhs.
i rush to scanning/printing shops or NGO's for the automatic scanning.
here, in delhi, it costs around 50 to 80 paisa per page scanning
depending on number of pages. i get it done mostly when the book
contains too many tables. it normally gives me approx 90% accuracy. it
takes very less time to scan. normally, i get around 1000 to 1500
pages scanned within 2 days.
for theory subjects, i prefer manual scanning. i use HP lazer jet
which is multi functional i.e., scanning, printing and photocopy. it
gives me good performance. the best part of this machine is that we
can do both manual and automatic scanning through it. its only
negative point is that it doesnt rotate pages on its own during
automatic scanning. first i get all the odd pages scanned and then the
even pages. then i use pdf converter softwares to arrange them in
proper series. it costed me around Rs.25,000.
as per my knowledge, performance of scanned item also depends on
quality of scanner as well. list members like ajay first tried
scanning on their home machine. but when they tried professional
scanner, they felt the difference.
its just my experience that i am sharing. hope it proves benefitial for all.
