And let me also tell you that the the unique code for the newly inducted symbol
for rupee is 8377, which you won't find even in the list of JAWS key+4,
although JAWS by default at the moment may not pronounce that, however, you can
always edit the JAWS dictionary to make certain words pronounce the way you
want.

If you're using JAWS screen reader, press JAWS key+4 in the number series
and you'll find many such symbols which you can insert without having to
put
any extra effort in applying different combinations.

    Hello Members,

This was exciting for me to learn today, although not much to add to your
knowledge I think you might find it handy sometime.

We all use US keyboards, thus the $ symbol is easily typed by pressing the
Shift+4 key. But how do you get the pound and yen symbol in a US keyboard?

Keep the alt key pressed followed by the numbers below to get the listed
    Symbols:
    Pound: 156
    Yen: 0165

Try it out it really works! And please feel free to share more currency
symbols that you think we can do with the US keyboard.
