When it asks for installation, do not press either key1 or key2 but just press the home key. Thereafter, open any file manager like Modo, YBrowser, etc. and most probably, you'll find the downloaded files in C:\System\dmgr\10008d39 or 2003016c. Try and try or please write again. Regards.

I checked using both, file manager and Y browser. So cancelling the installation just when it asks the memory to use, apparently didn't help, as I do not know if it really left installer undeleted, and if so where. The download dialog in phone does not give the exact file name being downloaded. Anyways, I searched using Y Browser for the given app name before giving it Yes to install, but it didn't fetch any results. Nokia is known to play it differently in each of their models, and this seem to be one of the limitation of E63. I haven't tried the Mobile Download Accelarator, will have to search if its demo version is available. Otherwise as suggested, will try to download softwares as far as possible on a computer. Thank you all for your inputs, best, Pranay. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kakarla Nageswaraiah" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 03, 2012 1:55 PM Subject: Re: [AI] Installer of downloadeded apps in Nokia phones Hello, If you want the backup of the downloaded file, do the following: Once the download starts, hide by pressing Key2. If you have clear idea of the file name, for instance, Vuclip_Mobile_Video_Search.sis, you can find, copy and paste it at the desired location using file managers like Modo, YBrowser, etc. Also, you can use the Mobile Download Accelerator to download some small files. Note: it's semi-accessible with Talks. Regards.
