Hi,
Kakarla, I did find one of the two folders but it didn't have the application 
which the phone was waiting to install. It had only 3 folders which too were 
empty. 
Kavitha, you are right that my memory card is not the original given by Nokia. 
If you meant that it had the download folder, then I guess it being the default 
location the phone would create it in the new card as well next time I download 
a software.

I guess you aint having the nokia original memory card. I suggest you to try 
after giving a memory card format.
