Pressing tab after entering the station code will definetly serv the
perpose. I was also facing the same issue before but one day accidently got
this trick.

this type of problem is even faced by me and its not now since years.
even i type the codes instead of station names it doesn't fulfill the
purpose. it still says the destination station can not be left blank
or source station can not be left blank. only difference is that i do
not face the said problem with seat availability and finding the
problem under the link train between stations. so what i do is if the
destination and source station is amongst major railway stations as
per the list provided on their site i click on the link trains between
the important stations and then i choose the station of destination
and source from the combo box.
if you still can not find the desired stations and wish to enter the
destination and origin then you may click on the link wich says
something like train birth availability.

As the subject line says, I am facing a problem in checking the seat
Availability for any train on indianrail.gov.in. Whenever I try to do
this, it says that destination station can not be left blank or
sometimes
it says: source station can not be left blank.
However I've checked the all data always before clicking on the get
status
button. there is nothing missing in any column.
Kindly do inform me that how can I overcome from this strange problem?
