Dear Friend,

When calculating the percentage before changing the cell format from Numbers to Percentage, have you used the following formula? =A1*100/A2, where A1 & A2 contain the data of which the percentage is to be calculated?

If so, kindly change the formula to =A1/A2 & the result will be displayed properly. Also, the percentage symbol will also be displayed.

Regards

Subject: [AI] Regarding excel formatting

Hello friends, I hope you all are good and happy. A very good morning
to all of you.
I want to share an excel problem with you and hope for any solution
from your side.
When I change the formatting from number to Percentage, the data
sounds little strange.
Like in any cell I have written
54.12
then after changing it into percentage formatting it will sound as
5412%
I want it to be 54.12% with the percentage formatting.
How can we do it?
with thanks
Shyam
