Now registration and usage of Verified By Visa and MasterCard Secure
Code passwords is mandatory to make online purchases on all websites.
Henceforth,
transactions shall be validated using your SBI ATM /Debit Card and
your VBV / Secure Code Password only and NOT your ATM Pin.
You can No longer use your ATM PIN to complete your SBI ATM/Debit card
transactions. You have to now register your SBI ATM/Debit card on this
SBI website
https://acs.onlinesbi.com/sbi/enrollment/enroll_welcome.jsp and get an
additional Verified By Visa / MasterCard Secure code password for your
SBI ATM/debit
card.
i had earlier used this visa card without following the aforesaid
procedure and not enrolled my card so far. So could anyone please tell
me do I really have to register my card and if yes, is the URL
mentioned above is authentic one prescribed by SBI?
Is this is the correct URL for registering my card?
