Hi! in that case for using aplicationn menue you please press
shift+f10 there it will open contaxt menue and you can work as you
were earlyer using  aplication key.  For your kind information, even
in my laptop of Dell inspiron 510 there is no aplication key and I
work in this way only.  Trust me its very useful.
