I too side the opinion I have also learnt just like that from my family
around me.. just be careful and until you are not so sure do not go to the
deep water side. shallow would always be playing safe.
and once you are confident and expert then? go ahead. then sky is the limits
for swimming. its a very enjoyable sport. I also enjoy swimming a lot and do
it when ever I get a chance to do so and its a good stress reliever as well.

Thanks.

Rgds

Mamta.

Dear anandhi,

also, it helps going there during odd hours as number of swimmers will be
less. that is how i did it 8 years ago. As ekinath said, its fun swimming.

Absolutely,

Also one more way is to probably have someone with you like a friend
or relative. It gives trainer a confidence as most of these guys want
to avoid extra trouble and risk, though there is none.

I used to carry my former boss along and and after 3-4 times. He
became irregular and i used to go alone, it gave trainer the
confidence and I was all alone later on.

Do join swimming, it’s amazing, specially, in winters for me :)

I would have been of some help if you were in Mumbai madam.

Please don’t venture out in deep pool till you can swimm very well.

Cheers
