I too side the opinion I have also learnt just like that from my family around me.. just be careful and until you are not so sure do not go to the deep water side. shallow would always be playing safe. and once you are confident and expert then? go ahead. then sky is the limits for swimming. its a very enjoyable sport. I also enjoy swimming a lot and do it when ever I get a chance to do so and its a good stress reliever as well.

It gives trainer a confidence as most of these guys want to avoid extra trouble and risk, though there is none. I used to carry my former boss along and and after 3-4 times. He became irregular and i used to go alone, it gave trainer the confidence and I was all alone later on. Do join swimming, it’s amazing, specially, in winters for me :) I would have been of some help if you were in Mumbai madam. Please don’t venture out in deep pool till you can swimm very well.
