Raju I was giving ways on how to resize an image for online application purpose. If you want to crop a freshly scanned image then scan it as a pdf file and select the image on the pdf file and copy to clipboard.(remember ctrl + c will not work in this case you have to use the application menu). Open paint and paste from clipboard a clean cropped image and save as jpeg. Guess I'm clear enough.
