Hi all,

I echo what Kanchan and other members have said on this issue. The division
of the list is artificial and creates an unnecessary burden for the end-user
of the list. Mobile technology is a crucial tool for the blind and is here
to stay. In addition, we have convergence. Ever since I got my iPhone, I
find that I am using it increasingly to replace my laptop when I am on the
go. I can view attachments, handle e-mail efficiently and do limited word
processing. The iPhone is my tool of choice in meetings.

Finally, I have met several members in person who have stated that they have
learnt much by reading posts on the list. They may not respond but are
passive consumers of information.
