dear friends,
I am suffering from congenital cataract in both eyes. doctors are saying it is
curable. but they say that how much functional vision I get is not certain as
the optical area in the brain has not been developed in 30 years due to lack of
stimuli. it is almost clear that they can remove the cataract and sight will be
clear. but I doubt whether there is a chance of loosing present functional
vision due to excess amount of light to which the brain is not accustomed. so,
I need the practical experiences of congenital cataract treated in later age
like 30 years or so. learned members please enlighten.
