I have always observed that we waste far too much time in framing guidelines about what cannot be discussed instead of focusing on what can be discussed.. A platform like AccessIndia can be very effectively used to discuss all aspects of blindness.. Half of the posts here are made to urge the moderator to close a discussion. Wouldn't it be more prudent to simply have the discussion and get over with it? Of course, spam messages, etc should never be allowed, but I, for one, see no harm in discussing such pertinent issues or in congratulating someone on the list for their achievement.. We must remember that this list is meant to facilitate discussions, not to hinder them.. Needless to say, these are purely my own views.
