Hi Eki,
If we follow the right caution and discipline we can do adventure sports
successfully and enjoy doing them..

Last year I did about 200 kms of trekking in the Himalayyas and also
climbed a 20,000 feet high mountain there. Earlier I considered trekking
and enjoying more of a visual activity where you enjoyed the scenary. But
at the end of all my experiences I understand you can actually "feel"
beauty. I have posted by experiences on this list today.

Some tips:-
1) Find a good guide who can communicate well. His description of the beuty
around can help to create visual images in our brain which can simulate
actual seeing if you are really mindful about it.
2) Explain to him how you can enjoy by touch, sound etc. and how to give
you instructions.
3) Start up in stages- by increasing your levels from beginner to
advance.
4) Give yourself more time than a sighted person.
