If you did not change your default settings, restore points are
created automatically on a regular basis. If you have not rebooted
the machine in more than 24 hours, a "system checkpoint" (automatic
restore point) is created the next time you restart your machine.
For sound in safe mode, run the fix for allowing sound in safe mode
and use nvda for speech rather than jaws as nvda needs no video intercept.

today my desktop pc is not working well. when I started it it shows
some problem. it inquires how to start, a number of options are
there, safe mode, safe mode with cmd, normally etc. when I hit enter
on normally then it shows the next screen and displaying the message
that preparing desktop and then black screen appears and cpu sound
decrease and on touching it, it seems that as if it is off but some
noise is coming from speakers. when I started it in safe mode then the
computer started but there was no jaws. I installed audio.reg to
activate audio in safe mode but still no sound is there when I opened
jaws, it showed error of display driver and after hiting ok on it,
nothing was done. wsame is the case with NVDA. can you people guide me
what to do to restore it. I don't think that I have any restore point
created because I don't know how to create one and use one. I have
some idea about it but never tried. also, when this problem happened ,
I recently have not installed any new software etc. the only thing
which I done was that I pressed the power button by mistake and the
pc was running. it asked that 5 programs need to close then I realize
that I should cancel it. I canceled it but when I tried to continue my
work then it shut down automatically. and then all this error is
showing on again starting it. presently I am writing this mail from my
laptop.
