As per my knowledge, one does not have to mention the section under which
you claim housing loan interest. You can always present a negative value
under one house property, at least this what I did last year.

There's no need to fill such entrys like T.A. deduction., it's already
calculated. As far as form 26AS is concerned, I didn't consult it.. After
filling all the data, it shows arrears worth Rs400. I didn't make any change
in prefilled columns but columns can be edited there if needed.

Yes, it's too easy to fill the form online, filling the form in excell
offline is really too difficult, but online there're simple web pages with
form fields, to which we can access with jaws without any difficulty it's
completely accessible with the jaws.

What is the difference between downloading the ITR in excel sheet and
uploading the xml version and filing the same directly over their site.
earlier, I never saw any option to file it directly online, we always
used
to prepare the same over the excel sheet which is slightly a tedious
process
because not all columns are properly read by JAWS. Will try to do this
time
online, is it easy compared to doing it offline?.

Visit the Directorate of Income Tax (DIT) website at
https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ for filing income tax returns
free of cost. Navigate to the button that reads "Learn How To e-File"
and activate it to read instructions on how to file IT returns.
I filed my returns last year through this portal and it was easily
done. Note that the the ITR form once generated needs to be
downloaded, printed and sent to the specified Bangaluru address via
post (no courier/speed post). The acknowledgement is sent on email
after they receive the printed form.
