So far as my knowledge goes, it is not possible to file RTI online till now, but the efforts are going on and very soon it will be possible. Though I read a news itom some time ago that in some ministries it is possible to file RTI online, but I can't recall that now.
Its very simple to file RTI, just write a simple application. At the top write the address of the public information officer, if it is of state government dept, otherwise, to central public information officer if it is concern to a central government department. put "application for seeking the information as per sec, 6 of RTI Act 2005" as subject line. then write: the applicant wants to seek the following information regarding xxxx..as per RTI Act. Write your questions point wise, like q.1, q,2. and so on. The questions should be brief and clear asking the information. Then write one line declaration that the above facts and information is true to my personal knowledge and belief. write your name and full address then enclose 10 rupees postal stamp after filling relevant information in it. then send it to the concern office.
