here's what you need to do.
Ask your friend to start Jaws & go to the the about box of jaws & look
at what is the display device listed as in the dialoguebox. It's to do
with Lenovo & not jaws. Lenovo doesn't install the display drivers for
the graphis card which forces windows to use the generic eindows
driver. Once the laptop is on, turn on narrator & go to device
manager, expand the device manager & check what is the display driver
listed there.
One more thing, after your friend has installed the driver, he should
run a repair on jaws & it would fix it. If he still faces a challenge,
ask him to write privately to me.

One of my friends facing a problem with installation of Jaws in a newly
bought Lenovo G580 Laptop. After buying it, he installed Windows 7
Ultimate
32 bit OS. Then he installed needed drivers from the manufacturer DVD.

that He installed Jaws 14.0.1037. But, there is a dialogue appearing as
"Freedom scientific mirror display were not installed, please reboot the
system". He tried to reinstall Jaws and also tried installing of all
drivers
from the DVD, but no use. He then reinstalled Windows and tried with

drivers of Windows 7 which works perfectly in some computers, this time

no use. Following are the configuration of that Laptop.
Model: Lenovo G580

15.6-inch Wide screen display (1366 x 768 pixels resolution)
2GB RAM
1TB HDD
Now he is in trouble in using Jaws in that system, Please someone help to
fix this problem.
