I completely endorse this idea, even the Microwave that I'm having has only two knobs, one for timer and one to adjust the heating power, although not as cheap as is yours one! I did look at buying a talking microwave but I think they are just far too expensive. All you need is a manual microwave which has two dials, one for the time and the other to set the power. I found one for about £25 here in the UK which is about Rs 2300. If you want, you can stick bump ons to help you locate the correct positions for the timer.
