Quoting: Dear All While my last visit to Bangalore, I noticed that both Mumbai & Bengaluru airports had no announcement made using the Public Address system or PA system. Announcement about the flight details, security check, departure terminal etc. Were all missing. Upon enquiring about the same, was informed that the announcement are been stopped for reducing the noise pollution and making the airports Eco Friendly. Whereas the same PA systems were used to play bollywood music. I fail to understand how can the music comply for Eco Friendly environment? The airport staff are also disturbed without the announcement, as many of the passengers miss their flights due to this. And the announcement really help us (blind) to commute independently.
