Hat’s off Sonu, As Zohar said, we Mumbaikars are quite lucky to have sensible people around. I am specially pained to see co-passengers attitude. But buddy you must take this matter to the rational conclusion.
I mean make a written complaint at least to the transport department. I had similar experience with the bus conducter and conclusion was he was issued memo and suspended for a month and then further was transferred from my route. I never wished him to be hurt that much but his arrogance was persistant towards other passengers too. Also we shall remain polite. Somehow society don’t like we being aggressive. AN important thing to know is that every governmental office maintains internal customer complaint book like that of railways, bus transport, police stations and other offices. Senior officials have to make reports based on thee books. And if not for real customer service, at least for record sake they have to take some action and what the governmental servants most fear is written complaint against them as it affects their promotions and other work prospects. So all, please be aware where to hit and hit where it matters. Only upon you asking for such a book they will be surprised that you are aware of it and will be startled. Also you can exert pressure through organizations for VI. It’s their duty to support you. Also a solution would be that transport corporations should while training their men sensitize them about dealing with disables. Bombay Electricity and State Transport (BEST) does that. I am with you… Good luck On 9/1/13, Dr Satendra Singh <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear Sonu, hats off for persisting.
