Despite its limited power and authority Chief Commissioner has done a tremendous work. Being an organ of bureaucracy itself, writing a strong letter to Prime minister directly shows the dedication and sensitivity of the head of this office headed by person with disability. Don't know about others, but I myself have never heard of CCPD before Pinchas sir's term. In light of the effectiveness of this office headed by the disabled and the vigilantism by the other similar commissioner of deprived and marginalize groups represented by themselves, I again reiterate my point that we should not reneged before the acceptance by government to have a disabled headed National Commissioner for persons with disability.
