Some more easy suggestions: 1. Under the Settings Center, go to Speech Verbosity, configure the level you use. By default it is Beginner.
Under that level, check all checkboxes. 2. In the View Menue of Explorer or anything like My Computer, My Documents, set your view to Details from Icons. Then in Windows 7 or anything above XP you can use your errow keys to read the desired information. From the same menue, you can also choose what details you want to read.
