Please try the following: 1. Open Kurzwril and change your engen whatever you want to use. 2. Save your settings and close Kurzweil. 3. Open Kurzweil and start scanning.

Friends I am facing strange problem in kurzweil 1000 v 13. There are 2 recognition engens in recognition tab under setting menue in kurzweil. Usually we use fine reader recognition engen, as it is set by default which recognise the page when we scan any document. If I am scanning any page, after scanning, when kurzweil starts to recognise the page, an error appears in a dialogue box and that is : "run time error". If I press OK butten, kurzweil closes down and I have to restart kurzweil again. How ever before scanning if I am changing recognition engen from fine reader engen to scan soft engen 18.0, it recognises the page as usual. But the recognition results are not good with scan soft engen . Please guide me how to resolve this issue. I have done too much trouble shooting, I have uninstalled and reinstalled kurzweil many times after removing it completely, I have removed fine reader and reinstalled it just in case if it was the culpret.
