Hi. The Chief Electoral Office, New Delhi has now launched a link on their website by which voters with disabilities can register and ask for facilities that may be needed on the polling day. It is for mobility impaired, visually impaired, hearing impaired and the elderly/ infirm. One can ask for wheelchair assistance and/or companion (as per Rule 49 N).
The more important thing is that this will give us the data on the number of voters with different disabilities in New Delhi. Plz give it wide publicity and coverage and request all your known friends with disabilities to register.
