Quite thoughtful article.

While I agree that Digital Braille Devices and softwares are not in
affordable range, but believe me, Braille is still quick enough when
you need to read out to people instantly or when you have to take
notes while retaining your focus on the discussion which is going
around you. Which not everyone can do with screen readers. Hearing
your screen reader, client or others on the other hand and taking
notes is not that easy.

The only and only downside of Braille which I see is that its only
usable for us, so if we take notes, others do not have access to what
we have taken down.
