my ICICI bank has been issuing the cheque book to me, along with my thumb
impression, atested by the issuing authoryty, from auguest 2011 and, never
had any problem from the bank or any receiving end!
it completely depends on the authorities and bank policies. as far as I
know, ICICI has never created, any problems to VI, at least in last 2 years
or more.
