Hi,

1. Please try and get use to of the technologies such as screen reader
and magnification software (which you are using).
2. Try and not depend on vision entirely for all the things you do (I
know it takes time to digest this reality and adjust).
3. Don't let your vision loss be a compromise for study (there are
examples of totally blind people who have been doing exceedingly
well).

As far as facilities are concerned, you get writers for exams, a
little extra time (roughly around 20 minutes per hour) to compensate
you for the time which you spend on telling your writer what to write,
scholarships are given to needy, etc.
