Do you mean GPS instead of GPRS? If so, GPS does not work for indoor
environments, because the signals tend to attenuate. You can use
things like dead reckoning in conjunction with WiFi signal strength
fingerprinting to estimate the location of the user, and then direct
him accordingly. Of course, this will be limited to a few areas that
you map. However, if this is a research project and not a commercial
application that you're looking at, I wouldn't worry too much. Be
aware though that several such research projects have already been
tried out, and so there will be no novelty as such.
