I think lack of respect for human diversity and different capabilities is one of the main bases which predetermines people's negative perception about disabled people. What constitutes inability and unproductivity is very subjective based on so called ablest notion. I wonder why a number of women despite being working round the clock at home earn wrath from male members because women do not earn? Same is the case with disabled people. lack of conducive atmosphere and support system perpetuates the understanding that people with disabilities are burden and of no value.
